Life Intermission
I must apologize to past me for not pulling through on the daily posts. However, I didn't wait months this time and I do have a good excuse. Just came back from my Taiwan and Japan trip and blogging would've made the process much more cumbersome you know? Also I feel like a blog post a day might be overkill so instead I'll try and stick to a blog post per week at minimum. I should be able to hit that at least ... I hope. Anyhow, some updates from the trip
- Second time going to Taiwan and I have to say, it really is my favorite country so far. It's all the good of Japan with a bit more grittiness and realness for lack of a better term. Also the best fried chicken I've ever had in my life. It's a shame I don't know a lick of Chinese and don't really have any intention of learning it cause man I'd love to be there.
- Japan was ok. This trip was mostly centered around me going to δΈιη and visiting some different cities to take care of a few errands. It was also the first time I've ever rented a car which started off as a very scary experience and then became fine. I was not prepared for just how tiny some of the roads would be π. But other than that, it was a smooth experience and made taking care of the errands significantly easier. I also ended up going to Uniqlo and buying decent amount of shirts and pants and already regret not buying enough pants lol.
- Not much Japanese updates tbh. Using Japanese at this point isn't really an issue outside of the times I get in my head (all the time). That's not to say I speak well or can understand everything perfectly but it's nothing some repetition or rephrasing can't fix.
- This trip to Japan did make me rethink about visiting Japan in the future though. I've never really been a big "visit famous tourists spots" kind of person and seeing that I've been more times than I think I can count, there's not that many tourists things that I feel are exciting anyhow. The vast majority of my trips have been solo though, so maybe traveling with people would make it more fun? I still would like to go to Okinawa and Kyushu so time will tell how it goes.
That's it for now. I've been (re)reading One Piece now and it's been a fun time. Probably won't catch until like mid-next year but at least I have something that can keep me going lol. Until next time (hopefully next time is next week).
